Guiding is an educational youth Movement.
It is open to all girls without distinction of creed, race, nationality or any other circumstance.
Lady Baden-Powell, World Chief Guide and wife of our Founder once said:
In a world fraught with uncertainty and fear, our Movement shines out as a golden chain against a dark background.
The links in the chain are forged out of the finest gold, our Promise and Law.
Guiding is a game of adventure, observation, knowledge and ideas.
It is an education in life skills that will encourage each girl to be a responsible citizen and to lead a useful life.
It does not seek to compete with what parents, school, religion and other youth organizations are doing BUT to complement them.
A Guide is:
Loyal and can be Trusted
Useful and Help others
Polite, Considerate and Respects her elders
Friendly and a Sister to all guides
Kind to all living things
Obedient
Courageous and Cheerful in all difficulties
Take cares of her own possessions and those of other people
Thrifty and Diligent
Self-Disciplined in what she Thinks ,Says and Does.
